Our black tea offering is from the Darjeeling district in India, at the roots of the Himalayas. After harvest the leaves are air dried, rolled to break down the cellular structure in the leaves, and aged on trays to allow the leaves to oxidize. This Darjeeling is a 2nd flush, which gives the brewed tea a rich, earthy flavor, floral aroma, and a dark ochre color. 

Brewing Instructions:

2 teaspoons Darjeeling

8 oz water at 200°F

Brew for 2 minutes (re-steep 1x)
