It seems that we’re really flush with some great coffees from Central America this month. Two more arrivals have made it from staff tasting to the chalk board offering list today. First up is El Salvador Santa Emilia Estate RFA which is a wonderful medium roast full of fruity notes like black currant, lemon and sugar cane. This small farm is run by Charlie Holmberger, who is the 3rd generation of his family to grow coffee on their estate. Next up we have Honduran FTO Marcala. Coffee from this region has a long and rich history dating back to the 1880′s. This is a mild and smooth roast with more nut and cocoa notes. We still have our Costa Rican Finca La Pastora honey processed, Guatemalan Huehuetanago and Costa Rican El Conquistador from La Minita. So come on in and love on a cup of one of these Central American coffees, and then stop back and love on another!
