It’s the time of the year that new Latin American coffees become available and we have switched things up a bit to showcase some really fine coffees. First, we are now getting Costa Rican el Conquistador Tarrazu from La Minita. This is one of the first coffees we roasted 6 years ago and we really love it and love having it back for a limited time. Mild, smooth and mellow! From Guatemala, we have a Huehuetanango (that’s way-way-ta-nan-go). This fine regional coffee is also on the mild side with more subtle notes and a bit less sharp than our previous Guatemalan. Last, we have Colombian Jardin Supremo. This coffee comes from small farms around the town of Jardin which I visited last year about this time. A little bit bolder and robust than the Narino Reserva, with wonderful stone fruit notes as the cup cools which really enhances the flavor.
We still have our Nicaraguan El Pariso Estate organic coffee available too so it’s really all about the America’s this month at Mighty Good.
Last, we’re now producing A2 Skate Park Blend which can be found at Acme Mercantile and our store. A generous portion of proceeds from the sale of this coffee will go to support the A2 Skate Park.
